Dr. Austin Teel

Austin Teel, DVM

Dr. Austin Teel currently serves as the managing veterinarian and medical director of Ramsgate Veterinary clinic. He is dedicated to ensuring that his patients and their human family members receive the highest quality care and service that can be provided. He was born in Dallas, TX and graduated from Texas A&M University with degrees in Biomedical Science (2016) and Veterinary Medicine (2019). Austin also completed a study abroad program at the University of Padua in Padua, Italy with a focus in international public health. Dr. Teel started as a veterinarian in Denver, Colorado where he practiced from 2019 to 2022. Dr. Teel moved back to Texas in 2022 and has been practicing in Central Texas since. In his free time, he enjoys watching and attending as many sporting events as possible. His favorite teams are the Texas Aggies, Dallas Stars, San Antonio Spurs, Texas Rangers--and regrettably, the Dallas Cowboys. Dr. Teel also enjoys other hobbies such as horticulture, collecting trading cards, going to concerts and international travel. Austin has two Shetland Sheepdogs – Chloe and Ren, a Rough Collie – River, a grey fluffy three-legged cat – Levi, and as many chickens as his wife, Alex, wants.
